The list below is a gathering of modeling portfolio and networking sites. These sites can come and go, but the top three have been around for many years and should be for many more.
One word of caution on these sites: Everyone on them is NOT a professional and you should use common sense when contacting or interacting with people through these sites.
- One Model Place - OMP was one of the first modeling sites on the Internet. Access to the site depends on the level of paid membership, but it is feature rich and well-known.
- Model Mayhem - Model Mayhem is currently the reigning king when it comes to modeling sites, it is free, well used and is not badly constructed. Many other modeling sites have sprung up over the past few years that appear to be based on Model Mayhem, possibly even using the same underlying software to run the site.
- Ujena - Ujena is a Swimwear company that has been around for 25+ years. Their talent site admittedly centers around bikini modeling in Ujena products, but it is well constructed, free and has thousands of industry pros listed.
- facebook - There are tons of photographers. models and others advertising on Facebook as a marketing vehicle. You should have a page there, which is separate from your profile. And there are many photography and model related groups to join as well.
